Just show us a slice of a day in your life. Try to chose things that you do daily or weekly---no giant wedding pics or super dooper vacation photos... just mundane daily things.

This isn't my typical day, but is a day typical of me within a week.


Here are mine.

A jaunt over to my place of work to grab my mail and schedule.
The secretaries:




The building I give some of my lectures in.


My office is on the 27th floor of this building. Spectacular view.


The buses I take almost 4 times a week to get over to work. (they're free)


A Chinese Restuarant owner. She's Chinese Chinese (a chinese ethnic person who is straight off the boat from China), but speaks Thai, English, and French. I'll often grab something to drink from her place in the morning.


A view of the Uni grounds as you drive out of the place.


One of my favorite reading nooks. It's right beside a very large birdcage that houses two parrots. One of them speaks Thai (it says the words in the right 'tones' as well ).


I got back to my place and the maids were making their rounds. One of the maids (she's not here) walked in on me doing Hairy Bear photoshops ...I think she resigned.


I love these taxis--not terribly safe, but terribly cheap. 5 baht gets me from my place to BigC (shopping complex).. That's around 2 cents in the USA.


Taking the river taxi to Pratunum shopping complex in the heart of the business/shopping district of Bangkok. It cost $16 baht (roughly 5 US cents!) to take the trip. This is a 'ferry' that takes you from one side of the canal to the other (it's free I think). It's just a raft attached to a moving rope.


This is the river taxi that I take. It's totally blue colar and during rush hour, totally and completely packed.

Back at Ramkhanhaeng (several hours later), here's a guy in a moving vendor mobile down one of the minor sois.

Woman makes me coffee while a man behind asks that I photograph them.
He's having a lot of fun with the photograph concept.
Thai people tend to like to have fun...most people I know run like hell
from having their pictures taken.


Major Cineplex, it cost just a little over 100 baht to see a new movie (about 3 US dollars)

the work 'horse' that takes me everywhere..


and sometimes i stop at the local publix before goin home..


and say hi to the locals on the way out..

or painting things of a different nature..this is my first painting..its a bit
strange.workin on it for a while..it's one of those that sometimes i walk by and see something new to add to it..look closely at it..maybe u can see...


i really need to crawl up here and put the final seal on this leak


and between all that and getting the squirrels out..they decided they need to be in the attic
i could really use a stroll around the block..
