So sad.

I watched that reality show "the two coreys" and it was just painful to look at how sickly he was compared to feldman and just the way feldman and his wife kind of looked down on haim (they're allegedly divorced...hah).

He seemed to know or suspect that he wouldn't live very long. On the show the two Coreys were going to therapy to work out their friendship issues and it came out that they were both molested by the same dude, a guy feldman maintained a relationship with, and that was part of the discontentment between them.

Well he's in a better place now. rose tombstone peace

Please say it's not true. I watched that as well and it was sad to see how 2 people so close could get all like that. I hope Corey got a chance to fix it before he died. This is one reason I try to say everything to people and end it in a nice way because u never know if it's the last time u get 2 say something 2 that person. Wow this is so sad I was hoping he would win over his bad choices. sad

I'm not surprised, but this is not what I want to see first thing in the morning. He was one of my 80's crushes, but he's been deep into drugs for years. Loved him in The Lost Boys rose

I noticed that too. It was a little too much to stomach seeing Feldman, who also had his own demons, rub it in Haim's face that he has it together now and has a wife...and that was suppose to be his best friend. wow

That's how I feel but I am so sad about this. I had a huge crush on him as a kid in the 80's. Something about him brings back warm feelings of my youth. I know he struggled hard though. I know Corey Feldman must be devastated. May he rest in piece. sad

How long before Corey Feldman comes out of the wood work about Haim's death and trys to squeeze out another 5 min of fame for himself?

And the same people who will shout that are the same folks who will shout "Feldman doesn't care about him!" if he chooses to say nothing publicly. It's a catch-22 w/ the public.

Seriously you can't expect Feldman not to say anything. That was his soul mate. It would be bizarre if he said nothing.

Oh I totally agree. Feldman should make a statement, or even do an interview about his friend. It'd be like Janet not talking about her brother's death.

They were like Starsky and Hutch, in that they had a great straight guy love affair. It was a true bromance (whether you like the word or not, that's what it was). I loved that they had that bond. Few people in Hollywood have that connection over a long space of time. I look forward to hearing what Feldman will have to say about it, although I might cringe at this ability to be overtly dramatic - perhaps this circumstance warrants some natural drama on his part.

The whole making money on his death thing that people will start spewing will be stupid. People don't get paid for appearing on The Today Show or being stopped outside their house by TMZ to make a statement. If Feldman wanted to make money on their friendship.....wait, they BOTH already have. The Two Coreys.

nod It was sickening. I only watched the show for Haim. There was an episode where Feldman told Haim that there was going to be a Lost Boys 2 or something and that he was in it but Haim would not be. Haim just broke down and it was so sad. What I heard through some folk on the B-movie circuit was that Feldman did some wheeling and dealing to keep Haim out of the flick so that he could get a fatter paycheck for himself. Just a rumor but stuff like that does happen in this biz.

Statement from Corey Feldman's blog:

R.I.P. COREY IAN HAIM 1971-2009

I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived. ~ Corey

Until it's confirmed accidental or intentional it's too early to speculate.

On his drug addiction.... people cared, reaching out to him. If he was too deep in the hole with a clouded mind and saw no way out but to end his life, again until it's confirmed whether accidental or intentional - just wait for the autopsy results.

I always wonder when a person is addicted how can they really tell if it is accidental or intentional. I think they already take an amount that would almost seem as though they were trying to end it but it's just their out of control habbit.
I feel very sad about this, like many of you I had his face plastered on my wall as a pre teen and teen.
I do wish Feldman was a better friend but I do know he tried to initiate an intervention. It was him, Pauly Shore and the guy that played Willis on Different Strokes.....I wasn't sure of Feldman's intentions. Was hard to tell if it was heart felt or just for TV. I hope they patched their friendship up after the show. I know him and Michael were not on good terms when he died either. I would hate to feel that way.....I wonder if they ever offered him a spot on Celebrity Rehab. Maybe it would have helped but I guess it's too late for wondering.
