I didn't go to my 10th or 20th, but I plan on attending the 25th this year. I'm in a better place now. smile

My general philosophy, tho, has been that if I haven't talked to you in all that time, I'm not going to. But I told my best friend I'd give it a try this time.

Go... you might enjoy it. biggrin

Come to think of it there are a few old friends that I wouldn’t mind seeing.

Last I heard they were all single - I think I’m the only one that is married or still married shrug

I also hate it how they display old school photo's all over the place - I mean no one ever thought about covering acne with foundation back then - and OMG the permed hair! lol

My Mom said at her 50th, hardly anyone recognized anyone. They had badges with their yearbook photos on them... lol

I guess Facebook just isn’t enough for some people
they need to ensure that picture you’ve posted hasn’t been tampered with lol

There are still some people who actually like to get together in person and interact. lol

My sister went to hers, and the guy who was sort of her arch enemy in high school ended up following her all over the place.

She said something to him along the lines of "Now you're annoying me for a whole new set of reasons." lol

I didn't go to mine, and I wish the people who conduct these things would give me more notice. I think I got like a one week notice to the last one. Of course, I don't remember but 5 or 6 people's names, and they're all on my facebook now, and none of them live close to where we graduated. Sooooo.... lol

i hate those things. i remember when my brothers 15 yr reunion was up
and this douchebag who absolutely hated my brother came to our house
to invite him and get some tidbits of personal info to put up on some
'what are we all doing now' wall at the venue.

i happened to be the one opening the door and without consulting my
brother i just told the douche that he wouldn't be able to make it,
since he'd be in tokyo at the time, overseeing the build of a new
trainstation that he'd designed.

falloff

the douche's jaw dropped to the floor and he was all "oh wow, he's
got to be the most succesfull in our year man, i never knew he'd
become so big"

smile

my own reunion, i just skipped. i wouldn't have minded seeing most
of those people again but there were a few that i absolutely did
not want to see. mostly because my life kinda sucks. not that i'm
uncomfortable with that, but i just didn't want to see some of my
former best friends all happy and with kids and shit. i figured
it would just make me depressed.

I think someone from my school threw a 10 year reunion and if I remember right, I read that about 46 people showed up - this from a graduating class of over 600. So not even 10%. lol

I don't know if there was a 15 year.

I don't have any plans to attend any in the future.

I went to my 10th, and it was fun. I went solely because I wasn't going to remain in fear of the ones who had bullied me years prior. I sat right in their midst and took no notice of them.

Plus I just reconnected w/ a few friends, and I'm glad I did. One close friend since 5th grade died just a few years ago. I'd not been able to find her until the reunion, and later kept in touch via email (once we had the internet - hahaha yeah, I'm a bit older).
