when i say it's new, i lie. i wrote a musical with two co-writers some time ago. we started december 2007, and in june 2009 we had a staged reading with hired actors, which went well. the press release was picked up by broadwayworld.com and playbill.com, lots of people RSVPed, and audience feedback was strong.

then we fought for a year over the contract about rights. in that long meantime, i moved on to a new writing project. now, after a year of fighting, i FINALLY am getting the rights back to my show. i back-burneered the newer show. it's close to having a rough draft done, but...

i stripped out the music, which the part of the show that wasn't working, and now... i have a complete script done, revised, and ready to go. am putting together a reading in a month, and need feedback.

anyone want to read it? it's less than 100 pages, and safe for a more general audience. i am looking for a few readers from both genders and all sexualities. it helps to have a broad cross section of opinions.

particularly looking for a few comic geeks, as the show does touch on comics as a theme.

I used to be a comic geek as a kid...just to let you know.Batman, Spiderman and Superman were my role models, plus I was really into French and Belgian comics.
