It is not so good when you wear an orangey/peachy shade dress and your skin looks the same shade.

And is that Demi?? I thought it was Jennifer Connelly at first glance - dang were they separated at birth.

I think these women over-think these dresses. They work so hard to look odd. The best dresses are usually the simpler ones.

Even Penelope Cruz, who had a lot of texture, there's only one color, one fabric. It's not busy. Looks awesome.

I thought the dress read much better on stage as she moved.

The styling was off on a lot of folk last night. sigh

Sarah Jessica Parkers dress was NOT flattering. I'm sure she's very tiny/thin in real life, but the dress did not convey that. I liked the bracelets though.

I love that dress. She's one of the very few women in the world who can pull something like that off, precisely cause she's so small.

I couldn't decide on this dress. I think the whole look could've been brilliant but fell short.

It also looks more golden here. OdlR put a video of them prepping the dress on Facebook - the embellishments are all silver.

Why did everyone have bad hair last night? Even Clooney looked like shit! I know it was raining but god damn!

And high definition tv is a celebrities worst nightmare. Cameron Diaz looked old and everyone's makeup was TERRIBLE!! Well, except Charlize Theron...even with her funny booby dress she still looked flawless.

I don't agree with this one. She ALWAYS seeme to be in a dress with miles and miles of heavy fabric on her lower half and trailing out behind her. For once I'd like to see her in something more simple. But this is the Oscars I guess... confused

I hate that color though on anybody. disbelief It will forever remind me of early 90's bridesmaid gowns.

These young chicks need to have fun tho. That's way old for her I think.

As a rule of thumb, if Helen Mirren can pull it off, and you're under 30...skip it.

I think this is beautiful, although her skin matches her dress. smile Maybe in another color.
