NightwalkerDNB

The Engilsh Orger's here will have clicked on who Tweedledee and Tweedledum were (Matt Lucas from Little Britain) and Barbara Windsor as the mouse voice.

My mrs is American she had no idea who they are... it actually took me a minute to realise that Stayne was Crispin Glover from Back To The Future lol, i hadn't payed attention to the cast before seeing it.

Like others have said... it was alright to watch, nothing special.

I wasn't going to reply to this because I love Tim Burton so much in general that I felt it would be kind of wrong to. But fuck it; I loved it. lol

My favorite bit I would have to say was the Red Queen (hilarious). I also loved the Cheshire Cat and Alan Rickman as Absolem the Caterpillar. I guess the dialogue was stilted in parts, and the Mad Hatter, oddly enough, seemed to be one of the most sane characters in the damn movie (but I guess that does make him mad, considering where he is; I don't really want to think about it a lot, ok). Danny Elfman's score was great, too, but I'm probably the only person who gives a shit about the score. lol

Anyway, yeah. I liked it, even as a fan of the Lewis Carroll books. It was a pretty movie (and I do like pretty movies, I won't lie), but mostly it was just fun. I might have enjoyed it more because it was a movie I could actually take my little sister to (and she loved it a LOT), but I still adored it. I'd see it again in the theatre and I'll definitely be buying the DVD.

Yeah, that's all. lol

thats honestly perfect...co-agree or some shit...

Loved the Red Queen too! Visually the most beautiful film I have seen. The "climax" of the film lacks the sense of urgency-to create a "great" ending-instead it just ends. Worth seeing in the theater-just for the stunning visuals.

He's a scary guy. He's up there with Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper and Reutger Hauer.
