I just have to say I am so proud of all my compatriots who have banded together locally and nation-wide to protest unprecedented fee increases, administrative lay-offs, and budget cuts for education--on every level from grade school through university! It is getting major local coverage and national exposure through the media. I hope others on the org who have been affected by these outrageous attacks on education support the nation-wide effort to stop the ill effects they will have on every aspect of our society!

I attended an earlier protest but I am in awe at the amount of protesters who have congregated on the steps of City Hall! It is amazing! I haven't seen this much energy and amount of people since the Iraq War protests! I hope this keeps escalating in positive action!
