Okay, that's hilarious. lol

Of course, Wisconsin does have its own patois...

I now have the 30-point Buck song stuck in my head from the early 90s. Not sure if it made it's way down toward Madison and Milwaukee...some Wisconsin Patois at its finest.

I remember sitting on the floor, playing with my Star Wars figures and hearing "I Just Called To Say I Love You" on the radio.

I think I might have turned into a science fiction lovin' wuss at that exact moment.

I remember hearing these songs in my early childhood:

Wham! - "Careless Whisper"
Jeffrey Osbourne - "Don't You Get So Mad"
Simply Red - "Holding Back the Tears"
Cherelle & Alexander O'Neil - "Never Knew Love Like This"
Billy Ocean - "Carribean Queen"
Tears For Fears - "Head Over Heels"
Human League - "I'm Only Human"
Sheena Easton - "The Lover In Me"
MJ - the whole "Thriller" and "Bad" albums
Prince - the whole "Purple Rain" soundtrack, "Raspberry Beret", "Kiss"
Pebbles - "Girlfriend"
Guy - "I Like", "Giving You a Piece of My Love", "Groove Me"
The Time - "Jungle Love", "Jerk Out"
Cyndi Lauper - "Time After Time"
The Knack - "My Cherona"
George Michael - "Faith", "Father Figure", "Knew You Were Waiting (For me) with Aretha Franklin"
Natalie Cole - "Pink Cadillac"
Aretha Franklin - "Freeway of Love"
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I have no recollection whatsoever of Prince from my childhood years. The first thing I can remember hearing from him was "Cream". I can't quite recall much of MJ from my childhood years either.

For some reason I bought the Moonwalker game, though. I just remember I really wanted it for some oblivious reason. The C64 / Amiga / PC version was terrible, mind you. It was nothing like the later SEGA game.

Nirvana - Rape Me

When I was a wee one, I would walk around the house singing this... I got in trouble.

Barenaked Ladies - One Week

I wasn't super young, but I remember driving with my stepfather and half-sisters every afternoon after school to drive my mother to work... this was always on the radio. I know all the words... STILL.

Grateful Dead - Sugar Magnolia

Mom's a DeadHead. 'Nuff said.

The earliest music I remember has to be Stevie Wonders 'Hotter Than July' & MJ 'Off The Wall' and a tonne of Motown - my parents were and still are into Motown and Northern Soul.

From my eldest brother it has to be Cameo 'Word Up' lol 'Suicide Blonde' by inxs, the big audio dynamite album and (funnily enough) Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation

My other brother got me into Prince with the purple rain soundtrack.

The first CDs I bought were 'jump, jump' by krisskross and 'ain't too proud to beg' by tlc

One song from my childhood that keeps jumping into my head is the theme tune from 'The Animaniacs' giggle altogether now... It's time for animaniacs and we're zany to the max... thumbs up!
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..

Janet..Love will never do!!

background: My 15 yr old sister took my 9 yrd old azz to wembley arena to see JANET..Rhythm Nation 1814 concert, we had no tickets , my sissy planned on buying them at the box office but failed, so she spent the money on merchandise such as t shirts, medallion etc!

But check this, during our walk-abouts of the outskirts of wembley arena, we came across a gentlemen working for the concerrt duties,My sister gave a him a chain she wore for Janet, he took it from her and went off.. then mr Rene came down and saw me and my sis..

He (mr rene) gave us VIP passes (including front seatings at stage).he told us thanks and said janet loves the gift!!.i cant explain what happened after, it was the Bomb!!!!!

the track Love will never do came across my memory when it was playing live, the a drummer (from janet's team) giving me a drum stick, we later got it signed by janet..what a night..Oh and Momma was a going mucho loca on us..we came home around 2 am ..sunday night..Ouch!!! But it was worth it!!! I love my past1
