Need To Find A Typeset It's like this Joan Crawford logo, from the early 1970s...
I know it's probably a custom font, but I'm positive I've seen a lookalike recently. It's sort of like Poster Bodoni - but doesn't have those annoying cut-away bits. There's a curve to it too. I know there probably isn't an exact match out there, but I know there's a lookalike - I just don't know it's name!!! Even the logo on the backdrop in this picture isn't exactly the same - notice the "a" and straight "w"... The font I'm thinking of, looks like Shifty Chica without all the extended tails.

I've got it. It's think it's named "Nikki" on my hard drive - though it's possibly a rip and wasn't originally called "Nikki" at all. I'll just check to see and let you know in a minute or two.

The font I have named "Nikki" is a rip of a commercial font called Mistral. http://www.fonts.com/Find...pid=201684 So, sharing the "Nikki" font would be very wrong indeed. Still Time basically is an upright copy of the Purple Rain logo without the raindrop dotting the "i". You just need to use fake itallic or a slanty free-transform in Photoshop to make it work. http://www.1001fonts.com/...nt_id=1172

Don't mock - I knocked this up in like two minutes...
I just wanted to demonstrate how Still Time only works when slanted. It's not a Free Transform. When entering the text use fake italic; then it's Edit, Transform and Skew, to make it slant even more to the right.

Found the Still Time font again, on a (horrible) sweatshirt at the Top Man website:
http://www.topman.com/web...&langId=-1 When I see freeware fonts on commercial products, I always wonder if the font creators are paid in full. I see Neuropol a lot. They used to use it on the side of Lucozade Orange Energy drinks. I've also seen it used for captions on TV shows. http://www.dafont.com/neuropol.font Very 1990s-looking.
