3 glasses of wine and I was in bed by around 9pm last night.

Clearly I'm an org wine club light weight.

Mine was 3 glasses spread out over about 4 hours. It mostly made me sleepy.

I also woke up about 4am and couldn't immediately get back to sleep so I went online and found something I never would have before and I'm quite excited about it. The play I went to last year in NYC (Coraline the musical) based on the book by one of my favorite-est authors (Neil Gaiman) and music and lyrics by one of my favorite-est singer/songwriters (Stephin Meritt) is releasing a limited edition CD cast recording. I ordered it.

And ANOTHER play is being produced in Chicago based on a different one of his works. It's running in May and June. So I think Ima head out there for that.

If I hadn't woken up in the middle of the night, I doubt I'd have noticed all that. I forget to check in with what's oing on for those things unless something like that unusual happens.

Hmm I am tempted. The little guy just went down for a quick nap. Though I have yet to be able to bring myself to drinking anything while home alone with the baby. When hubby is here, I prefer to be the sober one.
Who am I kidding, when we open a bottle of wine, I drink half a glass then I have had enough.
I feel like I need something stronger than wine at the moment, to be honest.

I think I will wait. I think hubby will need a drink or two when he gets home.
He is donating his time and some computer stuff to a Cancer Detection center that trains dogs to detect.
He got up early to get there and get home without being gone all day but it turned out to be a bigger job than expected. Almost 5pm and he is still there.

Indeed. Lots of good to come out of it. He took our dog with him so with the two of them gone, the house is pretty quiet.
I am going to get to go to the center and meet the dogs and watch them get trained some time in the future.
I just feel bad because the baby will probably be in bed by the time he gets home.
