Your favorite professional (make-up) line?

Being a cosmetologist hair/ make-up is very much an addiction... When it comes to cosmetics/make-up there is so many things to choose from.. I love the (glam) look so for me I'm a die hard MAC fan.. So ladies/gentlemen what is your favorite professional make-up line? and why do you love it so much?

I love MAC for there dramatic color pigments and there very dark kohl eyeliners. I have found there is no other eyeliner that will stay in the inner rim of my eyes without washing away.. truly a magical product! (wonders if prince uses this?) lol

Anyway Im curious as to what you all prefer (I love beauty talk) wink

MAC's lipglass is awesome. All foundation except bare minerals makes me face oily but bare minerals is too messy. If I do foundation, I do Iman.

maybe I'll try Bobbi Brown. It's the only one I haven't tried. I haven't found a perfect match for my skintone yet.

Have you tried Perscriptives? They do custom blend. And you can have oil control put into it.

I like Mac for eyeshadows and lips but I rather Bobbi Brown or Artistry for foundations and blush colors

for mascara I go with the old cheapo Loreal line because I love their brushes on the ,mascara and it really looks great on my eyes and doesn't flake.

Other odds and ends stuff I get from Sephora...like lip sealer, pencils, eye remover stuff and glosses.

No, you need to go to a counter to get your recipe. You can order re-fills online by registering your specific mix. lol

You'll love Bobbi Brown because the foundations are based in yellow tones and not pink so the foundations are better for blending for darker skin tones. You don't get that "ashy" look with her stuff.

I use three foundations shades on my face, I have to to get a natural look.

nod I know how hard it is to find a match being dark skinned. I tried Bare Mins last year and liked it initially then I realized the color didnt match well enough so i went back to Bobbi.

I've been using Bobbi Brown for almost 15 years. Hers was the closest match and whereas in any other lines, they automatically put me in THE darkest foundation, in Bobbi there were several shades darker than mine. They've since come out with half shades for in between each of the previous colors. I just bought a new formulation they have that's really sheer but covers at the same time. Love it!

Actually my favorite foundation hands down is Artistry by Amway believe it or not... that stuff is the best I've tried. I only need one shade of that stuff, and its awesome on my skin.

This is fierce on the page of a magazine or on a stage. If I saw her crossing the street I'd be lookin for the little clown car she came out of.

It's so dramatic!
If it were evening, it would be fabulous. It's not garish, it's stunning.

confuse Is it just me or will the scent of a product turn you off?

If my foundations/shadows/mascara/lipstick has a mineral/clay smell I'll ask for my money back.

Mary Kay smells horrible to me.

I bought some lipsticks from a Clarins counter that smelled, and certain shades of Mac lipstick smell to me.

Any recommendations for a really good thickening and volumizing mascara? My lashes are getting sparse due to a thyroid problem sad , and I've been trying to find a mascara that will thicken them up, but so far I haven't found anything too great.

I've read online some rave reviews for Lancome's Hypnose Drama mascara. Does anybody have any opinions on that?

Lawd I forgot about Clarins.
Did you at least bring them back before using? Please say yes. pray
You should just be sure and smell 'em before you take them home.
I remember how it sucked losing commission on returns.
