That thread did make me think of this, I'll admit that much, but I have my moisturizing sorted thank you very much. Boots Protect & Perfect anti-aging serum for my face, for one thing. That's a product usually used by middle-aged women though.

I haven't tried that. I do make sure I get plenty of vitamin C in general though.

I just moisturize. Oh, and clip my nose hair. And obsess over keeping my finger and toe nails neat and clipped. Oh, and file off the top layer of my nails from time to time to keep them looking bright and clean. That's when I'm not out in the sun with lemon juice in my hair.

Totally unrelated but my crazy best friend/former roommate swears by soaking in a tub of water with some Clorox. Not sure what this is supposed to do but he says it's good for his skin. Maybe, but it can't be good for his nuts an' stuff.

What's Clorox? Is that like Dettol? I very occasionally put a drop of Dettol in a bowl of water and clean my face with it. That's only if I've really bad skin and been out in the grime of the city all day or something though.

How about specifically for scars and healing the skin quicker? My wife's such a monkey, a real all-action tomboy, and she gets scrapes and scratches all the time (she's kinda clumsy too), and the marks take months to fade and sometimes never disappear. There's a long 3 or 4 inch mark on her arm where she grazed herself falling down that after 2 years is still faintly visible.

It's funny that you brought this up cuz just last week I was struggling with how dry my skin has been lately because of the unusually cold, dry winter we've had in Dallas this year. My normal Kiehl's moisturizer just wasnt getting it.

So I started doing my research and was preparing to drop a grip on some fancy, schmancy cleansers, moisturizers and toners (often ashy/dry skin is not just from lack of moisture but also because your cleanser/soap is actually drying your skin out). While searching I came across Cetaphil online and decided to give their moisturizer and cleanser a try. I am officially in love with this stuff.

After one use, the dry areas on my cheeks disappeared. The next day, I went to buy some new makeup, and the makeup artist who's done my face before said, "What are you using on your skin??? It feels like a baby's butt." I took that as a compliment. That was only after 2 uses, so needless to say Cetaphil is my SHIT!!! I use it on my hands and feet and keeps me well de-ashed.
