Uranus has a ring too.
All the gas giants have rings. Jupiter's is so sparse that it took years for scientists to realize it was there.

I'm referencing that really popular thread from a couple of years ago about anal bleaching. I don't remember who posted it though.

Oops. It's a typo.

I don't have those very often so it took me a while to figure out why you were confused.

I disagree. It gave me the opportunity to twice post this classic song that references dinosaurs, which is what I thought this thread was about in the first place:

i just turned off the sound and put on "kitten moon" by fluke
that gave the destruction of the planet a slow sensual 1990's
underground club sort of chic. it fitted, lol.

i know lol i never understand all those films where people get
all hysterical and start lootin/killing/digging tunnels when the
commet is about to strike.

i would just go lie in the middle of the street with a bottle of
vodka and a packet of ciggies, looking up at the sky, waiting
for that mofo to touchdown.

I have to laugh at photos like this. If that was a real wave those people would be gone or at least trying to run. The things that happen before a a wave that size makes landfall is a super low tide followed by a high winds.

But it sure is a PWND moment!

I also don't think the wave would look exactly the same as a 5 foot wave, only bigger lol

This is true for the most part, but I was shocked at how many folks stood and watch the tsunami rush in during the great tsunami that killed over 100,000 people in Indonesia and southeast Asia. The water rushed out of the bay, and folks gathered to see what was going on. And as the waves rushed in, several folks just... stood there.

Of course, the tsunami that killed 100,000 people would be nothing on the scale of a mega-tsnuami created by an impact.
