I know exactly how you feel about not going into work when sick, I feel awful not being at work and knowing there is so much I can be getting done but my boss always says that you have to take care of yourself first, everything else can wait.

This winter has been kind of brutal for sickness. I have been sick twice already, that's really unusual for me. And I know people who are on their third colds.

Sorry to hear that you have been so sick lately! Hopefully you will get to feeling better real soon, and some of the stress you are feeling will let up.

I hope you feel better. Drinks alots of liquids. don't feel bad about crying at work, i did that once when this lady called me idiot and said i should be fired for basically being real stupid(i work at a library and she was mad cause she was angry) everyone does it

Some bosses forget their staff aren't just worker drones, but people. And, oddity of oddities, that people sometimes break down or get sick or just have other things to take care of sometimes.

My boss is definitely a good guy and cares, but he also wants to make sure the rest of his staff stays well. Its been a bad year for us and I feel really bad about being sick...YET AGAIN.
