My own field isn't so much effected by economy, though, as a general lack of vacancies in a small, niche area. 16 ) If you (ARE) living with your parents, or hypothetically had to live with your parent(s), what would that be like? I recycle regularly, I've got a really efficient way of hand-washing dishes, I decidedly don't own a car, I mostly bathe instead of shower, I keep the lights out unless I really need them, I download media instead of buying hard copies, and I do all my school work/correspondence via email, not on paper. 19 ) What genre of music do you really dislike or not care for?  I'm not big on Bluegrass, Gospel and certain indigenous folk styles (mostly Eastern European).
20 ) What are you buying for Christmas? Um... I think I got away with buying just a couple books and chipping in toward some Wii accessories for my daughter.
21 ) What's the one thing about your country that you would change? Parochial mindset(s). 22 ) Should Madonna retire? No, just acknowledge she may finally be falling out of the loop and get a manager -- or friends -- who still know what's truly "in" and what Madge, at her age, can gracefully get away with. 23 ) What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done? Hmmm...maybe last summer. Fortunately there aren't many mosquitos in NYC. 4) When was the last time you saw a rat? I definately saw one last week about halfway down the block. It scurried from the trash bins in front of a brownstone to the street. Haven't seen one on the subway tracks for a while, though. 5)Have you ever seen a snake eat live prey? Well I don't necessarily think studying art history was a mistake, but I would probably encourage my niece and nephew to get a degree in something a bit more practical and use a minor for a less practical subject; or do a double major. 15) When do you think the job market will recover in your country? Mid 2011 for 'mainstream' jobs; then maybe 6 more months for museum/non profit/art world stuff.

Mr. Clean for the floors, Clorox for the bathroom, kitchen sinks, etc. 18) What are your GREENEST habbits? I recycle (it's the law in NYC), take mass transit,I freecycle and donate stuff to the Goodwill, buy used stuff when practical, and bring my own canvas/cloth bags to the grocery store/shopping. I have a 6+ year old laptop and my cell phone is going on 5 years old. (I don't buy into the "must have newest shiny gadget" mentality that electronics companies try to push.) 19) What genre of music do you really dislike or not care for? Country, emo/whiny/alt rock, easy listening. Actually, I have very narrow musical tastes: Motown, 60s/70s soul (except the Philly Sound), funk, 80s pop, Prince, and a smattering of classic rock/heavy metal.
