Yeah...I had a friend call me from LA and he was teasing me. We just got a huge snowfall here in Chi. He says.."It's 70 something degrees here, and I"m cold...blahblahblah"...I hung up on him.

Folks on the news said that all lower 48 states have snow on the ground somewhere. Nothing here in Albany, NY, but there's always snow in the higher elevations like the Adirondaks and Catskills.

Doesn't it usually snow a lot up there?

We have our bouts of it. This winter has been a lot milder than past winters. We've not had a lot of any snow this year. Just a few downfalls, but it's gone in a couple of days.

It all depends on what part of SC your niece live in. If she
lives on the coast where Charleston,Myrtle Beach, and Hilton Head
is yes snow is a rarity there. If you live in the upper part of
SC where i live just across the line from Charlotte then snow
is normal here. Charlotte is only two hours away from the
mountains where snow is a way of life. I was supposed to be in
Atlanta this past weekend but obviously postponed.
