Help! i need business etiquette (sp?!) advice I recently came into contact with two somewhat powerful people at two different companies. We've had great discussions and they offered to take me under their wings and allow me to come and view the facilities and so forth.
person #1 has been quite busy and for the past 3-4 weeks put me off ( oh we're swamped this week, we'll try next week for you to come by) person #2 I've just met last week but I haven't received a return phone call from them that I made yesterday so is still kind of early, but I dont want this situation to turn into person #1.(being constantly put off) Now my question is, do I go back to the company and find someone else to let me get my foot in the door? Because I don't like to waste time. I'm a very "go getter" kind of person and I will find a way to get what I want/need by any means. but i don't wan to come across too brash and "going behind someones back". But I would also think they would admire my attitude. I also understand this is the tv/film industry and it can very easily get extremely busy so why wait for them when I can try someone else at the company. gimme sum input please! I'm trying to get a job in my career cuz these student loan people be callin' me p.s. well there is a little interesting backstory with person#1 but i wouldnt thinkt hat would interfere with that situation....hmmmm

I say all of the above. Keep trying the two people you know, and also anyone else you know.
No sense in leaving any arrows in the quiver.
