HDTV no sound on some channels I just got a new TV however channel MYTV, NBC and FOX just does not give any sound after the channel scan.
Anyone else have had this problem? dont have any HD plugs yet, it's just a regular cable cord from the wall to the TV plugged in and my xbox. Is there some type of signal scan to run again? It's a Westinghouse 40" I just bought from Tarjet'  Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Make sure the TV has the sound set to stereo and not SAP. Otherwise rescan all the channels and/or press the reset button. Sometimes just unplugging it for 30 seconds will reset it. Then rescan the channels. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

go into your tvs menu > audio settings > flick between the options until you get sound
some signals have mpeg1 or 2 or whatever some technical shit like that  | |
