Question About Saving Pictures On Your Computer I was wondering if I were to save my pictures on a photo sharing website (such as photobucket), if that would free up some hard drive on my computer. I have so many pictures on this computer that I know must be taking up a lot of memory. I'm thinking that if I were to save them to a photosharing website that it would be saved on their server, thereby possibly freeing up some room on my computer here. Is my way of thinking correct on this? I'm not entirely sure as to how this works. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I like Photobucket; I have a Pro Account.
Save your files onto there. I recommend dividing things into albums and sub albums on there for easy browsing. Then delete them from your computer. It's also convienent if you want to post them someone online, because it will come up with the different links. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

I already have some pix on photo bucket, but I'm thinking of putting them all on there. That way, they'll all be in one place and easy to find. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Save them 2 a cd or DVD as backup.
BTW, photos take up hard drive (storage) space, not memory.

I'm paranoid. I burn them to a cd and save them on an external hard drive. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

You can save them to a thumb drive or an external hard drive. You have 16GB and 32GB thumb drives for reasonable prices these days, so they can hold several thousands of multi-megaxpixel images.
And don't forget to clear your cache when you use your computer, especially if you use a Windows-based PC. Every time you surf the web, Windows will store temporary files in your computer to track history. This takes up a lot of hidden space on your hard drive.
