Do any of you guys use such discount or free phone providers/utilities like Vonage or MagicJack or any other others??

If you do, I need some feedback as to whether they are any good and do they REALLY work????

I want to buy into these but I need honest reviews first!!!

i have magic jack . where i have my office i use it cus my cell phone is terrible out here ...

i like it .. altho i have heard that both vonage and majicjack have issues if u try to do a fax machine (cus they are not crystal clear) ... there are times that i use the magicjack over the land line cus it is clearer ... but that might just be issues with my land line ...

Magic Jack sucks donkey balls. There is an issue with the hardware, and Magic Jack refuses to discuss it. You can reformat the jack at all, on PC or Mac. It was $40 down the drain when it stopped working.

We use Vonage and I love it. I use the SimulRing a lot (especially on weekends).

My phone is Tracfone and I get bonus minutes a lot so even that is quite economical for me. The phone itself is study and does what I need it to do.

The thing is, right now we are on a VERY FIXED budget and we need to keep in contact with my husbands family who all live throughout the States and also I need 2 keep in contact with my family in the UK, so, obviously, we cannot afford all the long distance calls!!!
