That's how long I have until I move into a new place. I'm SO excited. We've had some very, VERY tough times in the past year at the present place we're at. We're just ready to get out of here and into the new place. We have a 2bd/1bath, 1st floor where we're at now. It's just over 800 sq ft. Not so bad, but we've outgrown it.

The new TOWN HOME is 3 levels. Lower level is the laundry room (our own, not shared) and garage that let's out on the back side. The main level is the living area, dining room and kitchen, and patio, and a half bath. The upper level is two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one being in the master bedroom. I'll finally have my own bathroom, although I won't be in the master bedroom. I've alerted everyone that no one is allowed in my bathroom. I plan to use all my African and Asian items in there to have a zen/ethnic feel to it.

It's about 1500 sq ft without the garage. My bedroom faces west, toward the mountains, so sunsets should be fucking glorious! It's high in rent, but there's a lot of pluses. Yes, I knew we could have a house for what we're paying, but for now...this will do. The complex is small, nice pool, great gym. Digital phone and DirectTV are also included (which I posted earlier that I'm nervous about this.) Amazing that I don't mind moving, but the cable and phone service is what I sweat over! haha

I'm just ready to get the fuck outta this dump. We're going to try and get our beds, TVs, the cats, kitchen and bathroom stuff there the first day to stay there, and that weekend (the 6th of March), we'll do one big move with a uHaul. If we signed a 13 month lease, we got the first month free, which is March. Our lease here isn't up until 3.31, so we have a whole month to gradually finish up things here (like paint over the red bedroom walls, and clean up in general).

Hopefully the rain will NOT come down in 17 days. HA!

Thanks. I hate moving, but we have a decent amount of people offering to help, so I think with one big push on the 6th, we can get about 90% of it done, in like 2 trips. I've been packing boxes like a MFer for 3 weeks already.

Thats awsome congrats! Its always so refreshing to have more space and everything to be nice and new! plus big bonus on having your own bathroom I would die if I didnt have my own also way nicer that way! Thats why I love spring all the Fresh air and a nice new Fresh start how exciting!



Oh and make sure you have more than 2 Cigarettes and no broken heart ok?

Your new place sounds fabulous! Congratulations! I know what you mean about outgrowing your current place. The current place I live at is a little less than 800 square feet. I would love to move somewhere else (like buy a house), but I can't afford it at the present time.

Having more space is fabulous! When I moved, my shoes got their own room- tastefully done, of course.
And I feel the same way... don't like people using MY bathroom- I have another one.
