Now they have tigers and lions You're braver than I am. I'm actually afraid of birds. I'd take my chances with a camel before a peacock. I lived in Roslindale. Whenever I say that people usually say "where's that?". It's beside West Roxbury. Orange line from Forest Hills goes right through it on the way toward Dedham. The ghetto apartments (which are being torn down I hear) at Beech St. and Washington St....that's me. At least it was. [Edited 2/11/10 19:40pm] All ghetto apartments and the housing development was torn down in two months flat.... pushed them folks all out to places like Brockton and Lawrence. My peoples are in Roslindale. Pretty homes there... Chocolate's home reminds me of that area. They didn't get much snow either... the south shore got it like New York.

Lived in the public housing right down the hill from it. I miss Boston, haven't been there since 95, but I know I can't afford to move back.

So getting 12.5 inches of snow in 24 hours blew up the previous 7.8 record set 46 years ago. This shit ain't normal for us at all.

My hubby was supposed to fly into Texas yesterday.....needless to say he is in a hotel somewhere in St. Louis waiting cause he couldn't make it. We have over 2 feet here. Kids have been out of school for over a week.....I'm sick of the snow. It has ruined alot for me over the past few days. LIVE4LUV

We got a goot 12 inches here! crazy!
Advice! if you have snow on the TOP of your car, remove it before driving. I saw a bunch of cars that had the roof snow slide off covering the windshield. Also in slow traffic watch the engine temp IF snow is covering the air vents it might run hot. if it does crank the heater all the way up! that should bring it back down. Between the snow on the East coast and the 12 inches on our airport, it's gonna be hard for a lot of folks/entertainers/athletes who were coming for All Star. I had planned to go to Doug E Fresh, Kid Capri, and Biz Markie's events last night. Now I dunno if the snow in my driveway will melt today so I can go to Doug E, Mike Phillips, and Jazzy Jeff's show at the HOB tonight. Snow SUCKS!

Last year we had our regular hot season, then a rainy season that on and off lasted over 6 months. It was still raining in the time it's supposed to be cold season, when December and January on average are supposed to get only maybe 2 or 3 days with rain. Cold season just never came and by two weeks ago it was obvious hot season had begun. Screwy! MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!
