Stretch Marks ....

who has them and how in the hell can you get rid of them? I don't see how I got them, I never been fat or pregnant, but they sure are they, right on my hips, and I've been trying 2 get rid of 'em forever ... okay so maybe I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

I don't have any, but I've heard that using moisturizer on them will help decrease their size.

I don't know if it works, but it's worth a shot. The worst that can happen is you're extra smooth! smile

Edit: I don't think there is anything you can do to get rid of them... but my friend has them on her stomach and they lightened with time.

Some woman get them and some dont...I did not get any...I think it depends on how much weight you gain and the (cant remember the name right now) .. Elastistity I think confuse . I got none but yet my sister got them REALLY BAD...I am 5'2" and she is 5'8"... It all depends.. Look at Demi Moore, she has a great body for haveing 4 daughters...But mine were many years apart so maybe this helped... I thank my blessing.

I have them and I've never weighed over 125 (I'm 5'10")!!! I got them from a growth spurt between my sophomore and junior year. I grew 8 inches over that summer. Damn, was I in pain!

Straight guys...shut up already damn! If I have stretchmarks, there is no way women can help it!!

I think it's all about some skin having the ability to expand quickly, while others do not.

You are probably right. It's actually quite upsetting to have them. I never asked for them, I didn't gain much during my pregnancies, and have never been obese.

sad

That's why I told the guys to shut up about the subject. I've always been stick thin and I have them. Thank God they are very faint and not at all noticible upon first glance smile

I don't have them. I attribute all of it to Exercise. I had a baby gained 60 pds and well I exercised throughout the preganancy. I would say Definitely Exercise and drink water and if all else fails get Liposuction.

Maybe you got them during puberty when your hips became wider. I have some on my chest from arund that time but their not all that noticeable. Depending on your skin tone they may become less noticeable as time goes on.

people who treat you any different because of those stretch marks aren't wrth your time of day.

If women want us men to feel secure with our small dicks, then you better do the same about your stretch marks.

I have stretch marks from my pregnancy and my daughter who is 12 has them on her hips. She's 5'7", so she grew very fast and that's why. I no longer trip on my stretch mark...I earned every one of them and you'd be surprise how many men don't trip on stuff like that.

I have them from lifting weights and then taking a 6 mo break. I'm not feeling sorry for myself I just think it looks kinda weird. Now I know how Zebras feel.

You can't do anything about them. They mean nothing. Don't waste your time and money on them. Live happy, don't worry over the small things.

There is supposed to be some new product called Mderma, or something like that. On the commercials it says it is supposed to get rid of stretch marks and other scars, but who knows if that is really true. shrug

i think i heard lotions with vitamin A work well for stretchmarks...or they can be lasered off, which is what i bet Demi Moore and Heather Locklear did...

Lucky me -- two pregnancies no stretch marks. I used cocoa butter during both of them. I've heard it works afterwards too.

I've read from a few different places that a topical Vitamin K cream can help lighten stretch marks.

I don't know anyone personally that's tried this so I don't know how true this might be, tho.

I have them and I'm extremely tiny. I've never been pregnant and never grew upwards much, though I did eventually fill out some and got some marks on the sides of my breasts, my butt, my hips. They're very light and somewhat unnoticeable. I don't mind them, there's nothing you can do to get rid of them anyway.

I have more stretch marks than you can imagine. I haven't yet figured out how to get rid of them. I don't think it's possible to tell you the truth. I got mine when I was 12... guess I grew too fast. I've never been bigger than a size 1-3 so go figure.

Best solution is to accept them and move on. It sucks!!!

star Stretch marks depend mostly upon the genetics.

star There is NO way to get rid of them as of today.

star There are creams, (maderma is one) and lazer procedures that can lighten them, so that they "blend in better", so although they will not be purplish, they will keep that pearlescent glow under certain angles.

Sorry if i bring bad news.
