"It's not a question of having to know you. I have two reasons; firstly, I am not attracted to you and secondly, even if I was; I would never date students. Hope you will find someone that answers your feelings soon. Good luck!"

This is good. Just take out the "even if i was" part so that you don't leave the door open for any misunderstanding or glimmer of hope on his part. But Huey's answer works too nod

I tried this once - she left the school!

I usually say that I'm seeing someone, or that I'm really busy and not looking to meet anybody anytime soon neutral

So basically, you lie. Does that come naturally?

Yeah, or what if I start dating some other student. lol

How can it be the quickest and most effiecient way? Isn´t it even more painful to have to deal with it in person?

I don´t know what to do. I am having lesson tomorrow with them. I won´t know how to behave. neutral Not looking forward to that.

One of my friends said she´d go that you never know...I don´t know. I am usually attracted or the guy draws my attention somehow immediately. This one hasn´t.

I feel like a person like this is not worth turning me into a liar. Plus if you lie, you have a weakness that they could find out you're lying. Truth is a much, much better defender.

However, when I traveled alone in the Middle East for six weeks, I wore a wedding ring and that alone cut out the crap really quick.

Don't let him get the upper hand! Maintain your boundaries, don't explain, act professional. I agree with Ottensen that his response is a red flag. He's going to test you. I also hear you questioning yourself and I'm sure he's picking up on it too.
