I had a blast at the Fresh Fest tonight!!! Sold Out. Chicago Arie Crown Theater...5th row front. But my son gave me his camera with half dead batteries. I didn't sit down one minute. I'm tired and my back is out from doing the Wop. Salt n Pepa look goooood! So does Spinderella. Whodini rocked. Big Daddy Kane danced his ass off. I have video of him I'll post on youtube tomorrow. Biz Markie had everyone screamin'. But I have to say Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick tore it up. I took my 18 yo son with me. And ya know..it was nice to hear all those songs and all that music without every other word being bitches, hos, or muthafucka.
I was going to be pissed if he wasn't wearing the black hat.
Kind of blurry...I forgot I was dancing and taking a pic at the same time.
And if this should be in another forum….just move it. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

They'll be in St. Louis tomorrow night. Still trying to figure out if I'm going or not. This may have pushed me over the edge.

It was a great show. The crowd made it amazing too. No one was sitting down. I'd go again if I could.. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

Wow, sounds great. I grew up with those guys music, listened to it day and night.
Still funny though that the lineup is the same as twenty something years ago.Whodini....Biz Markie...Slick Rick Good to hear that they´re still doing their thing. Ecstacy looks a bit chubby but hey,as long as he´s wearing that hat, it´s all good as far as I´m concerned. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I still have my ticket stub from the Fresh Fest I took my daughter to in the 90's for her 16th birthday. There were s few missing...LL, The Fat Boys, Eric B & Rakim...but I loved it. Also each performer did a tribute to MJ and Biz Markie did a little song in honor of Teddy Pendergrass. And during breaks they played Eric B, some LL, and I think all of them said something about the Fat boys. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack
