MIAMI best cuban food? UTTER BULLSHIT .
http://www.cnn.com/2010/T...tml?hpt=C2 PEREZ HILTON has finally managed to tick me the fuck off. No, no no.. Not because of gossip. I don't actually read his gossip columns mostly cause I have no clue who most of the celebs are that he slaughters. But because he's stated in the article above that there is no other city in the USA where you can get delicious, authentic food like in Miami. This is utter bullshit! Tampa's Ybor city is at least as bit as Calla Ocho in Miami, and fancier with one of the most famous cuban restaurants in Florida (The Columbia), featured in the first Punisher Movie. I'm sorry, but Tampa holds it's motherfuckin' own when it comes to cuban food and culture. Just sayin' [Edited 2/5/10 21:24pm]

It cooks itself practically, and always turns out tasting heavenly. It was the one dish I actually somewhat missed when I went Raw vegan. There's also a wildly delicious potatoe salad that a friend of mine made, flavored with a bit of bacon (broken into bits) and place in the salad.

My friend, Matt - who lives here in Madison - makes THE BEST mojitos. He learned from a bartender in Havana. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

How about some good cuban or puerto rican restaurants in Los Angeles? Can anyone help me with that? I went to Versaille and it is nothing like the one in Miami. I wanted to cry when I got my food. I do miss the food there. All of the food actually. It is worth a trip just to eat. Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. Use of Viagra not authorized. Get your two minutes and go!

You got to be muerto awn it! Chile, don't you know that Miami IS Cuba!? You know T-Bay can't touch Miami's Picadillo or Carne Asado...and not even the ones in restaurants, I'm talking those mom &pop corner bodegas with those old school cafeteria counters set up in the front, where you know the food has been sitting there for a day and a half...and it's served by the old Cuban lady in her house shoes making little cups of cafecito for her gossipping girlfriends complaining about their sons...hell naw, you can't beat mama made Cuban cooking in Miami unless you hop a boat to Havanna..no way, no how- Those bodegas are on every corner in town in Miami, I say nobody can mess with those old Miami ladies', they got the skillz that will make you slap somebody!
