HOW BIG IZ YO BOOTAY? ? ?

In other words, how much money do you have stored away for:

1) savings for the future
2) a rainy day
3) family/college/travel plans, etc.?

My bootay used to be big yall. But after last year, my booty was
raped without ky. But then I got to thinkin'. I'm going to inherit
my mum's property and other thangz like that, so I will be doing
just fine in the end....but It's kind of like cheating to me,
so I need to regrow my booty.

How about your booty? Is your booty big? Do U have enough
booty for yourself and those you love?

No. I owe money to quite a few institutions. I have no savings.

I have a 401k for retirement. Otherwise I have a bit stashed away for my Thailand trip in the fall and I'm getting my first time home buyer's tax credit within a few months. Once I get that I'll be able to pay off the only debt I have other than my mortgage and have a little left over that I will probably put right into the savings also.

I am also planning on buying a new couch and an island for my kitchen this year. And I wanted to buy a pink scooter. I think I can swing all of the above without going into debt and still not be destitute.

And in 2011 I want to put new floors in my place. Currently they're sealed concrete, which is fine, but it would be a lot prettier with tile in my kitchen and hardwood in the rest.

we've been very lucky that we are virtually debt free...no credit cards, no petty loans...

we have funds stashed away, cash on hand and the checking account maintains a healthy balance...I stopped investing in anything a few years ago...as much as I'd like to see my money grow, I'd just as soon see it be there when I need it...the kids have a bit of a nest egg started as well...

and I hate to even think like this but I have an inheritance that will solidify my financial security...I'm not rich but I'm beyond comfortable...

Yeah, as far as inheritance, I know there's nothing coming my way.

I'm actually a bit worried about how my parents are going to take care of themselves in the coming years...

As for mah bootay, I got nothin'. I got less than nothin'. One time I told a friend I was broke, and he said, "broke would be an improvement for you!" lol

Education has me approaching six-figure debt, and it'll be twice that before I'm done.

I also have something like 15K of old, stupid credit card debt, and no way in hell I'm gonna be able to pay it off anytime this decade. I should just go bankrupt, but I can't afford a lawyer, and I don't have time to do it myself. I'm working full-time and taking three classes.

My job barely pays my bills. My checking account is currently overdrawn (I get paid tomorrow).

I am a financial disaster. And will be for a while to come. It's not fun, but I try not to let it get to me.

My bootay is looking pretty good. I have no debts at all but I do have a mortgage, although I don't look at that as debt as I have no problems making my payments and have a decent amount of savings.

I have a small savings, small 403b, and some debt, so basically I'm broke!
