1 hour is faaaaar from enough for me.

To me, its present during EVERY function of my daily routine(except when I'm praying or sleeping).

I mainly listen to music these days on Friday and Saturday nights when I'm drinking and then I listen to hours and hours of it. During the week, I mainly listen to it in the car on the way to and from work or have it on in the background in the morning when I'm getting ready for work every now and then, especially on Friday mornings.

I'm usually in some sort of a good party mood when I listen to music because that's what I see the purpose of music being for....a good time party, whether it's the dancefloor or the bedroom. That's why I'm so hard on adult contemporary, shit hop, or any type of music that's just "there" because there's no inbetween for me. I'm all about a good time party 24/7 because life's too short and you got to enjoy it while you're here.

me too...I can't believe that not so many years ago, I was a "music is my life" type....I still like music, and there are times when I crave it but my day can still be complete without it....shrug

If the radio is on while I'm sleeping, I wake up when I hear Prince. My ex, and best friend, think it's funny as hell.

The beeping mode on my clock radio isn't loud enough to wake me up so I have it set for the radio to wake me up in which I have the volume turned up as loud as the little radio will go. Sometimes when it goes off, I hear it but I don't really wake up and I start dreaming that I'm listening to music. One morning, it went off and it was a Shitney Houston song playing. I was dreaming that I was listening to the radio and in my dream I tried to change the station but Shitney continued to play. Then I unplugged the radio in my dream and it still kept playing. Finally, I woke up and realised it was the clock radio I was hearing. lol

At least during my commute to and from work. That totals about 40 minutes I guess.

It varies. Some days, it must be on near-constantly. Other days -- perhaps most -- I can't stand the sound of my own voice, let alone music.
