I desperately want and need some time alone. And I'm gonna have to wait for quite a while to get it pout I hate this exclaim

I currently want to forget about every young man in my life, if things go on this way. I'm sick and tired of illusions and dreams, but I can't seem to avoid them.

I want to go to Rome this spring.

I want to find out and decide what I want to do for living someday.

I want to be a better person.

I want a hug.

And aggressive. They are considered to be as dangerous as Dobermanns and Rottweilers, even after years of education and "loyalty".

Apart from that, please don't become a lonely woman who has no-body but their dog, brushing his teeth and punishing him when he does not want to walk as slowly as you by saying "Stop, Oscar! Or I won't talk to you for two weeks!" Those kind of women are damn weird and nearly impossible to bear. disbelief

She has two little ones in her house that do not need to be sick.
I already bundled up and took the dog for a very long walk, I had to borrow one of Phil's hats. I looked ridiculous.
I was going to walk up and get groceries as well. I need to make some Chicken Noodle soup.

See, I don't think aggression is the main thing to consider when talking about this breed. Cocker spaniels for example bite more often than german shepherds. The thing is those aren't as fatal. I remember reading about their attacks as a child and getting quite scared of dogs in general (regardless of spending so much time with dogs during my childhood and never being afraid of them) but with time I realized it's the people who are to blame. I never put german shepherds in line with pitbulls, rotweillers and dobermans. They certainly can be just as dangerous but those breeds are actually very different.
Besides, I'd never get an already grown-up dog. I'd get a puppy and be very careful where I got it from and who are the parents. I believe in communicating with the dog from the very beginning. And, above all, mutual respect.
Also, when we move a dog around the house will be quite an advantage.

Drop a couple of drops of Eucalyptus essential oil in a small simmering pot of water. It'll scent the entire house, and help with chest problems. hug

The problem is that many dogs have it in their genes, because of what they were used for before.

If I had to get any kind of dog (and I'd
have to have a garden, where the animal could run around and not be chained to a post, like in many American households of families who are simply too lazy to buy a fence, and never let the dog inside or even in my bed) it would be an English/Scottish shepherd or collie, not too big, but certainly not too small, intelligent and versatile, but not too spirited and aggressive.

I don't give a fuck about "puppies" and colour, but I want my dog to be able to discuss politics, Asian bitches and football with me and to have a glass of red wine with me, from time to time in the evening.

Yes to all that. That's why I'd get as much information as possible before deciding anything.

So many dogs suffer because they don't have their freedom. And nothing good can come out of that.

biggrin It shouldn't be too hard finding one!

That's why I don't have a dog yet. I want a German Shepherd as well, but I'm not home enough to spend quality time with it, and I don't like to see dogs chained up.
My Granny's neighbor's dog has his own little television left on the cartoon channel all day. He hangs out on his bed and chills until they get home. "Trouble" is soooo spoiled! mushy

nod I agree.

I also don't like the idea of keeping dogs in the house. I mean it's okay if they are those little dogs that are practically meant to stay inside, but other than that... No. I'd never get any dog without being able to provide them a life outdoors.

The rule is that the smaller the dog, the less intelligent it usually is, but you are right, I've heard about a small, but intelligent race, too. However, the undoubtedly most intelligent dog is the British Border Collie.
