myself I would dye it red - yes red to put the colour in that was stripped and then over dye with a good chestnut brown. The red will add in what was stripped from your hair and the chestnut brown will add the colour and you should get an even colour al over your head. Make sure that the dye is not harsh and has good conditioners inbuilt into it.
This experience has served me well when I have a hair disaster when lightening my hair. Hope this helps. "I may not agree with what you say but I'll fight for your right to say it"

I used to get mine all Billy Idol platinum'd out which should be easy to do but it went brassy a few times. I had to get it re-bleached. I can't imagine what that does to really long hair. | |
