Hospitals deny Haitians U.S. Haitians who have been injured in the earthquake of January 12, by the U.S. military no longer flown to hospitals in the U.S.. Some states would first clarify who bears the cost of medical treatment is paid.
The debate was fueled by the Governor of Florida, Charlie Crist. In a letter to the federal government asked for a contribution towards the costs. In hospitals in Florida have so far included approximately 500 Haitians.
