I'm tired of it snowing. We don't get snow often in VA but it's getting to be really rediculous lately. They calling for a foot of snow today, and I hate getting snowed in for more than one day, I end up having cabin fever. Thank God I didn't go to the grocery store to restock, then I would be cooking and eating everything up in my kitchen due to boredom. Fuck the SNOW!!!!

Congratulations. You're the first "sick of snow" or "sick of winter" thread start this year!

Normally they continue until about late April. I'm dying to see who's next!

Yeah, hon. We don't fuck around! I'm originally from NJ, and when I lived there it was the Pennsylvania drivers that were jacked. Then I came to DC to attend Howard University. After I graduated, I bought my first car and started navigating the streets of DC, MD & VA. My consensus:

DC drivers are pretty OK.
MD drivers are RUDE.
VA drivers just CAN'T DRIVE! Period!

Ain't that the truth! I remember that snow storm we had back in the 80's when the plane crashed into the Potomac. We were let go from work at about 3:00 pm and so was the rest of the metro area. So I'm driving home and there's a young woman behind me ON MY ASS. There was already about 5 inches of snow on the ground and as I'm driving, this fool is right on my bumper. If I stopped she would be in my back seat. So I pulled up far enough away from her to stop the car safely without her banging into me. I got out and walked to her door. She starts freaking out, thinking I'm gonna jack her up or something. I just told her, "Don't get scared. I'm not going to hurt you, but obviously you don't know how to drive in snow. STAY OFF MY BUMPER! If I stop, we're both jacked up!"

Another time I was driving down 13th Street, NW when all 4 lanes were one-way going in town in the morning and one way going out of town in the evening. Well, there's a steep hill right at the top of 13th where Cardoza High School is. The street was covered in ice and all the cars in front of me were going down the middle of the street slipping and sliding like a mofo. I stopped, thinking, "Oh, hell naw!" So I put on my thinking cap...line the car wheels up against the curb, downshift to first and proceed down the hill with the wheels right against the curb. Piece a cake. I looked in the rear view mirror and I had a parade following me!

The snow and the -47 weather sucks when its around but it does just give more excuses to stay inside, cuddle up and find ways to stay warm!
