I’m basically the same. Perhaps a bit more animated in person. And at the same time, a bit more shy.

I think you could ask anyone I’ve met and they’d say close to the same.

i'd say there is very little difference.

Richard, there were no perks when I met you. lol

You are pretty much the same. Except I think I read you better here since I do know you. If that makes sense.

My communication style is no different in real life as far as my choice of words, depending on who you are.

I don't curse and talk about my balls to people I don't know. Not because I'm trying to impress them but out of respect for the fact some folks get offended by it. On the threads here, you can chose to ignore my posts. Some vapid cunts in M&M, however, can't seem to get that.

Also, I'm more inclined to give my opinion online, because these threads are about debate a lot of time--the exchange of knowledge and ideas. We're not suppose to be monolithic in our thinking and the premise behind a lot of these threads is to have sort of a discussion around those differences. Some vapid cunts from M&M though don't get that.

But in real life, I'll often not express my opinions on something if I know it will change the dynamic of 'dinner conversation' or 'bar talk' not because of fear, but because I'd rather the mood by light and fun. Nobody wants Rasputin sitting at a table when discussing a mundane topic. For example, if I'm sitting at a bar, and one of the women talks about how much she loves Kevin Costner (and I hate Kevin Costner... HATE HIM) if it's apparent to me that expressing my opinon of him will upset her, I won't give my two cents--what's the point, and who important is it that my opinions are expressed in luie of that? They're not. So I just shut up.

So, I guess the short answer is yes, I'm quite different in real life. lol

you're much shyer and less confident in person, until you are relaxed. then it's pretty close to the same, except you are deeper in person.

I'm louder here, and I let my aggro asshole out a bit more often (because you can always skip my posts if you don't like me here and it won't affect either of our lives). The aggro asshole is REAL, it just takes a hell of a lot to get me to express that part of myself in person. mr.green

you're an incredible sweetheart on and off the org.

having seen you political on and off, you tend to be assertive either way, which i think is a good thing.

I don't know, I think I'm the same here and in real life. I mean, I get to think about, and edit my responses here, so I'm probably more articulate here than when I'm just rapid-fire running my mouth. lol

And in real life I'm always smiling. So when I say something brash or rude on here, you can't see my big charming smile. It softens things IRL. smile

I'd love to meet you. I imagine you to be so incredibly different to me, but I'd love you to bits because you'd fill the spaces in conversation where I lack horribly and despite our differences still be totally on my mostly in-jest caustic as hell wavelength (with deep-rooted sappy, genuine undertones because you love LOVE the ppl you should). I just don't give a fuck, and I always imagine you to be the same, but with a very different way of expressing it. hug
