Amazing story - A kind gesture reunites a family

So this is a very long thread that takes some absolutely amazing twists and turns. If it is all true, (and it would appear that it is), it's quite beautiful how a simple gesture of kindness can turn into something this wonderful.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

OMG...I wasn't going to sit here and read all of those pages, but this is amazing!!!! Amazing in that one simple, kind gesture can change lives. mushy

To quote one of the posters...

This is a story of The Soloist proportions... and in a time when sex can kill you, jobs are scarce, hope is elusive, and things are looking very bleak all around.. a story like this is an uplifting and inspirational note in an otherwise very sour world.

The Internet can be a wonderful thing. thumbs up! Check out the pics on p. 24 and the "twist" on p. 30. eek

Seriously..you guys have got to read this!!! clapping

I know what you mean. A friend of mine sent it to me and just told me to read it. Didn't tell me about any of the twists. It's just a great story all the way around. How people giving money to an absolute stranger simply for the purchase of an instrument lead to all of that is just fantastic through and through.

By the time I finished reading, I couldn't believe nearly two hours had gone by as well.

Glad you others have enjoyed it too.
