Computer problems A few days ago my nephew was on my desktop computer, and I don't know if he downloaded something without my knowledge or what, but since that day everytime I try to open IE I get an error window, saying something about me not having access, and then the IE window closes, and then those little error windows keep popping up all over the screen. I haven't been able to use it. Anyone know what wrong, and how I can fix it? [Edited 1/18/10 18:55pm] Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

a System Restore might help.
Restart you pc, press F8 during startup and choose Safe Mode. during that startup a question will be asked if you want to go in safe mode or system restore. Give the right answer for system restore. finally pick a date before the nephews visit.

sounds like malware, which you need to download and run, though why you are still using EI is beyond me and stop blaming your nephew. we all know you were looking at porn. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

At least try and start in safe mode or do a step by step restart before restoring

^If you have the windows disc pop that in and f8 and load windows,NOT INSTALL and try to repair it n then roll it back to a previous date. If that doesn't work reboot it f8 again and go into safe mode and try to run a virus scan there. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.
