Celebrity Deaths Today Great actress Jean Simmons died at 80 of lung cancer, on January 22.
James Mitchell, who played Palmer Cortlandt on All My Children died at age 89 on January 22. Jean was in so many great movies, and was even on Star Trek: The Next Generation once. She was in Guys And Dolls, The Robe, Heidi, Elmer Gantry, and tons more. Palmer had his own distinctive career well before a soap opera, as well. | |

These are my favorite movies my Ms.Simmons. She really had a grand film career... nice body of work, may she Rest In Peace.
