I don´t consider Chris Nolan´s interpretation of Batman as part of that horrible franchise that started with Tim Burton´s Batman.
In my opinion, being the hardcore, oldschool Batman fan that I am , Nolan and Christian Bale came closest to my favorite era in Batman comics, i.e the 70s version by Neal Adams and the mid 90s version.

Not that comedy Batman that people grew accustomed to.

The Dark Knight is a great film, and so is Batman Begins....but I understand that it appeals much more to those who dug the DC novels back in the days.

Movie fans probably prefer Burton´s Batman. thumbs up!

....but I hate that version. lol

Is anybody into the classics? A few of my favorite classic movies include...

The Postman Always Rings Twice
Kiss Me Deadly
The Fearless vampire Killers
Duel in the Sun
Cool Hand Luke
Carmen Jones
Planet of the Apes
Dr. No (actually, I love virtually all the James Bond movies with Sean Connery)
Bonnie and Clyde
Elvis movies are a guilty pleasure also but I especially like the early ones

Everything else...

A Bronx Tale
Desperado
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Office Space
Shallow Hal
The Last Dragon (this probably falls in the guilty pleasure category too)
From Dusk 'til Dawn
Enter the Dragon (all Bruce Lee movies really)
The Terminator
Blade Runner
