Zoo Hospital.

I hate video games but was forced to participate one night. I was given a stack of games to choose from and I picked this one - because it just seemed so random and odd. The Wii owners had never played it; it was an unwanted gift.

You're basically a new veterinarian at a zoo. You have to operate on the animals which are all inexplicably sick. Well, I'm guessing you have to operate on the animals because none of us in the room ever got that far. Honestly, I was laughing so much that beer was coming down my nose.

The chief vet pops-up on screen telling you what to do. The first patient was a Mandrill. You're instructed to stroke the primate until you find its "sweet spot", so you can get it relaxed enough to get a tranquiliser dart in it.



After twenty minutes of stroking the monkey I got it to the operating table. You have to shave the monkey's arse. I'm not making this shit up! The Wii remote started buzzing like a Remington. I was writing my name in the fur of the monkey's bum, with the electric razor.

Well, I lost the Mandrill, so skipped ahead to the next level. It was a cobra. Again, you had to stroke the snake until you find it's "sweet spot". I think I gave up after twenty minutes of snake stroking, in a fit of snotty giggles.

I have to agree with those who said MarioKart. That game is too fun!
The Resident Evil games are really great too, but the zombies might be a bit much for the kids.

I am searching for an affordable wii and the wii fit stuff. I heard its really good for kids with autism...gets them moving and exercising the muscles and all...

Our Pediatrician highly recommends it, you have to get the Wii Fit Plus game (the upgraded software).

We got our board and that version as a package for $90 at Xmas...

you can get a great review at that Gamespot site I keep posting...
