What PC laptop is an equal to (or better than) THIS MacBook? 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache running 1:1 with processor speed 1066MHz frontside bus 2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 4GB MEMO: This thread is NOT intended to be another PC vs. Mac discussion. This thread is intended to help me save money if there is a PC laptop that can match the performance of the MacBook at a lower price. Otherwise, I'll end up trying to save $1,000 (before tax) for a MacBook. So far, I only know about Sony Vaio. The ones from the CW series & SR Series are very good match-up. http://www.sonystyle.com/...&langId=-1 But is there anything else? All facts & opinions are welcome. [Edited 1/24/10 11:27am] | |

I'm sure it has, we got ours a year ago and it's freakin' solid... the best part may have to be the HDMI output though... we plug it into our BFTV and stream Netflix and whatnot...
