yeah I passed the test. I am now a certified pharmacy technician!! 
I'm so happy too, because the test was a pure D bitch and had me sweating like a mug. Some of the questions were just out there. I had studied but there is no way to read and know everything. The grace of God defintiely had my back today. The best part is I had put the address in my GPS and it somehow saved all night but then disappeared as I was almost there. Thank God for smartphones and email access on the go, otherwise it would have been really ugly. I was a little later than I wanted to be but it was fine. Then I come home and check the want ads and it looks like all the jobs dried the fuck up 
Then I check my email, and "a friend" sent me an email for a job in NY doing what I used to do. First off, I am not trying to moving with the kid mid-school year, second, doing what I do nearly killed me and pissed me off so bad I 'bout near cussed out a bunch of folk over the past 10 years and I have shit to show for it but HBP and anxiety disorder. Common sense kinda dictates that I should not put myself back in that situation. Third, even the the title is the same, the job is nowhere what I used to do....I can understand he wants me to get a job, especially because I owe him money but damn. How are you my "friend" and obviously you know shit about me. Anyway, taking the PCAT tomorrow (which thank goodness is not a pass-fail type of test, because even the cliff note books could not get me interested in bio or organic chem or physics  ) and then I am just about done with the pharmacy school application and I am getting my externships set up, and of course, applying for jobs, which will be better hopefully now that I am certified.  | |

If it's controlled substances....basically the "good" stuff", like painkillers. My mom has worked in a pharmacy for years. She's never had a probably getting anti-biotics and other drugs though. She'd sneak me some Cipro out if I ever had a UTI. She'd get the meds that were only a few months from expiring that no one would really notice.
