Everyonce in a while for no reason I'll just scream out "Amanda" in an english accent to liven things up.

Of course they kill the Mo.

I never watched Dynasty, but I can see how this kind of thing would signal the dying days of any project.

Amazing how they all looked so peaceful, perfectly coiffed, and with no bullet holes in sight. The final shots were more like some high-end bedding advertisement.

^ Yeah I think it went pretty much downhill after this, cause I don't remember what happened afterwards unless it was the Kyrstal kidnapping plot which was a whole nother level of camp.

The Moldavian Massacre was when Dynasty "jumped the sharks", no question.

But the REAL beginning of the end for the show was THIS incident:



This cliffhanger plus 2 seasons of that failed spin-off The Colbys did more damage to Dynasty than The Moldavian Massacre.

It´s threads like this that make me realize how much I miss UKJustin´s (BinaryJustin) presence around here.
He had this Blake Carrington avatar and quote in his signature.

I remember this cliffhanger! Back in those days,I was a Dynasty fanatic Watched every episode on Wednesday nights.This one was HUGE.Viewers spent the whole summer wondering who would survive.Of course,when the new season began in the fall,hardly anyone of importance had died,lol.

Still,it was a cool cliffhanger.

I just remember watching Dynasty as a preteen because it had some female character on it that my prepubescent sexual impulses had gottem fixated on. I remember nothing what happened in the show itself.

Now that I think about it, I have no idea anymore who that female actor even was. It might have been even Joan Collins.

I'm currently rewatching the show. The CBS Drama channel in the U.K. is showing every episode again. I'd forgotten how good it was. Dex Dexter just arrived in town last Friday. I can't wait for today's installment.

I've give up on The Colbys after watching Season 1 cliffhanger where Jason Colby was going to beat the crap out of Zack Powers but ended up (accidentally) hurting Sable Colby in the process.

But I've have seen the infamous UFO chiffhanger in recent years. That storyline continue on to Dynasty with absolute no conclusion whatsoever. It was as if the producers wasted too much on all of the spaceship set-up for nothing.

I was a HUGE Dynasty fan and Knots Landing too. Watched every show, right up until the bitter end. I think I liked Knots Landing a little better.
