First, love to see the old pics of all of you, beautiful!!
Am I the only one who always thinks it is strange that we all start of as being an adorable little kid and then grow up to be big and weird. Ernest, you still look a lot the same, Dan, so cute, John, wow, adorable and all the rest too!! I love these kind of pics, just genuine pics. 3 months
1 year
3 years old next to my 6 year older brother (yes, my mom did cut our own hair...) ![]()

So you could show us the pics from the early 60s, when you were still young, handsome and sportive?

I think I've went through phases of looking like dad as a baby, mom as a youngster and into my 20's, and now I'm looking like dad again. I guess I have to look like one of them.

I just got off the phone w/ my mom, and told her about the response to her hair. The picture above, she said she remembers that blouse. Mom used to go get her hair done every Friday at a salon down the road from us. She figured out that she could do the hair herself. She went to a hair supply place and bought TWO hair pieces. One was a cascade on the back of her head, and then there was another smaller piece on top of her head. She had plenty of her own hair, but she was all about the wigs. This is what you see in the picture. I never remember her wearing wigs actually. I don't remember that house either, although we lived there until I was 3 years old. I do remember driving by the house I eventually lived in for 15+ years, but I never remember this house (which was across the street from my paternal grandparents). The other picture of my mom here:
I thought that was a dress, but she said it was a jumpsuit, AND SHE MADE IT HERSELF. Mom was always making her own clothes, and made some of ours as well when we were very small. She said she remembers making the jump suit. Mom didn't understand the use of the word "fierce", so I had to explain that it was a good thing. She wondered how many people seeing it were younger and didn't remember women wearing their hair like this, but I told her there was a wide variety of ages on here, so some would remember first hand, others would not. She also showed her age when she said, "So do they think your mother is a fox?" I said, "Well they didn't really use THAT word, but yes, they think you were hot." I was going to try and explain "MILF" to her (some have used that word w/ that picture), but she'd never go for the F word, so I didn't go there. hahaha

LOL. We'll just call her beautiful and leave it at that. I'm old enough to remember those styles. It finally came to me who she reminds me of in those pics...Barbara Feldon who played agent 99 on Get Smart. ![]() Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
