Montel Williams' kids talk about their absentee dad http://www.bvblackspin.co...entee-dad/
Former talk show host now wellness guru Montel Wiliams is in the dog house, and he was placed there by his own kids. Montel, Jr., 16, and Wyntergrace, 14, have put their famous dad on blast by allowing news outlets to interview them on their practically nonexistent relationship with Williams. The children are saddened by the fact that their famous father has not reached out to them emotionally as the result of a bitter custody battle with their mom Grace Morley. Williams does provide financial support, a monthly $18,700, but has not made himself available to the children. "My dad is now like a stranger," Wyntergrace, who turns 15 this week, told the New York Daily News. "Everyone knows him as a great guy, but he's not making the best choices as a parent." Williams, who used to beat his talk show viewers over the head with such phrases as, "As a man, you've got to step up to the plate and be there for your kids," clearly talks a good game but is not taking his own advice. Wyntergrace and Montel, Jr., are letting the public know that Williams' public image is nothing like his private one. Although Williiams is a motivational speaker and a staunch promoter of living well both physically and emotionally, his children are now sticking a pin in that hugely inflated image. They are making a plea to their dad: either take an active part in their lives or leave all of the decision-making to their mom. "I wouldn't say I really have a relationship with my dad," the younger Montel said. "He's not in my life right now. It's his choice. I eat every night. I'm comfortable, but I can't say I have him as a father," he added. "There's all this fighting over things that shouldn't be a fight, like paying for my PSAT." According to Wyntergrace, she has only seen her father four times over a five-year period. Williams divorced Grace Morley back in 2000, and a year later, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The couple share joint custody, but the children live with their mom full-time. Montel, Jr. also claims that his father did try to include him in his life after the divorce but not his sister, Wyntergrace. When Williams remarried in 2007, he even invited his son but excluded his daughter. When birthdays rolled around, only Montel, Jr. would get a card from his dad but not Wyntergrace. Soon Montel, Jr. started to feel guilty over his sister's exclusion from his father's life. The Williams teen duo are refusing to remain silent about their father's total lack of involvement in their lives, so they have decided to start the "Montel Williams II Equality for Kids Campaign." The online petition will help kids who are in a similar boat and give them a voice with regards to this country's court system. "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

That sucks.
Even if you can't geographically be by your children, it's still possible to be a good father to them. Which is why it makes even less sense when they're just across town or something and finances obviously aren't preventing you from being there.

If my father named me Wyntergrace, I'd be pissed off too.
However, Montel has always had a reputation for being a punk dad. He was on some 4th rate QVC type channel hocking a pain spray. Have a pain? Spray this aerosol on it, and the pain disappears instantly. It was worse than Cher doing Lori Davis Hair Products infomercials. It was PAINFUL. Plus he's doing all those drug commercials. He's a total dickhead. I did a video rant on Montel Williams being a dickhead to his guests on his lame ass talk show too. I'm not sure who he's trying to fool, but he's not the Mr. Nice Guy people think.

Especially if he doesn't like mom. Sometimes an unwise babymomma may not be able to help a man to see the importance of spending time with his kids. Or sometimes a man may not actually care about the children he has with a woman he doesn't love.

And, it doesn't take 18 grand a month to raise kids. Perhaps the wife should try creating less hostile conditions by accepting smaller bonuses for herself. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

LOL... if dad is paid like that the kids should be too. Its a standard of living thing... can't have a millionaire dad and mom and kids living in a trailer park. When the wive's of rich men are well kept isn't that the same thing? At least babymomma is being well compensated for her 24hr a day babysitting duties.

You know good and well those kids don't see shit. The wife has new tits, new nails every 5 minutes and all kinds of other crap. Women need to be strapped the hell down with regards to raping men for money using kids as an excuse. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

If a woman gets that type of money, she can live off it sure, but atleast be responsible and start trust funds for the kids and put their needs FIRST!
