I would not consider her an A-list celeb. Shameless self promotion via scandalous stories are pure D-list, baby.

I wouldn't consider any of those 3 A list to begin with.

oh, totally. Kevin Costner blows. But I gotta admit I enjoyed that Swing Vote movie he did a few years back. He plays rednecks well enough I guess.

Doesn´t really require a lot of talent for a redneck to act like a redneck.

Big movies, well known, A-list, but as critics said in 1981 "he emotes like a tree trunk".

Big man bleeds charisma though, and that's far more vital than talent in being successful.

J-Lo, Jennifer Lopez....whoever. And I'm tired of her taking classic and hot old hip hop records and fucking me up when I realize its one of her dumb ass songs and not the Beatnuts, Afrikaa Bambataa, or Mr. Cheeks, etc. Stop it Jenny from the block! STOP IT! STOP fucking with club anthems and making them pop buffoonery. STOP IT!

In 2002 when she did that fucking Jenny from the Block song everytime it came on I thought it was the Beatnuts "Watch Out Now" .....and then her dumb ass would start singing and I was like DAMMIT!! mad

The Beatnuts said that the Trackmasters pretty much jacked their beat when they produced that record.

almost all of them...from A list on down...yeah, some are better than others but they almost all tend to take themselves and their 'art' too seriously....I mean, do what you do, make your money and shut the fuck up...quit trying to convince me how important your work is....you're reading a script, singing a song or, worst case scenario, doing nothing but playing famous...its not rocket science, it aint saving lives and if you weren't around anymore we'd likely be better off...

For the record though none are A-list as far as being asked to events. Paris is A list for bullshit events, Diddy is maybe b or c and Tila is not even F list

Anyone that has made their career going to events, or on reatity TV regardless is d-f. And yes Paris Hilton is a Dlist celeb, i know she goes to tons of events, but look at the ones she goes to, "spike tv awards" the "Espn Awards" and then openings and listening parties for peoples records, all that is c-d list events. Include Kim Kardashian on this c list too, though she has slightly more clout than Hilton, so at best she is a c and paris a d, diddy is a b-c and like i said Tila is fucking F- list, she goes to the bottom of the barrel shows when the d list ones turn it down.

I've heard a few of Miley's pop songs, and thought she was indeed overrated, but she surprised me recently. About two weeks ago, I watched the movie "Bolt" for the first time, and during the ending credits she sings a country duet with John Travolta. I was shocked at how great her voice sounded. Based on that song alone, she can sing 10x better than Taylor Swift.

yeah but Taylor Swift is a song writer and a musician.

I don't think that should overshadow her weak and boring voice. And these days, anybody can write narrative song lyrics over acoustic guitar chords, that's later enhanced by a professional band and producer, lol. Most country singers write their own songs, so that doesn't impress me. lol

Cool, lol. thumbs up!

I just read that Miley co-wrote the song I was referring to, which is called "I Thought I Lost You." See what I mean? I don't know how much she contributed to the track, but anybody can write some country-western lyrics. lol

Yes, I do. lol I meant what I said, lol. Carrie Underwood, and even Kelly Pickler sing better than Taylor too. I have relatives who love country music, so I'm aware of what a good voice sounds like in that genre.

If Swift had started out older, instead of a teenager talking about high school drama, she would not be as popular as she is. Young girls are keeping her famous, lol.

Janet Jackson - a dreadful voice, so-so everything else except her looks after lypo and a starvation diet or countless hours a ta gym before a tour. And absolutely pointless, forgettable tunes outside of a handful. Long before Britney, Spice Girls, etc. Janet set the bar on what a forgettable talent should sound like. "When I think of you" could possibly one of the worst pop singles released by an A-list singer, ever. To say that I am perplexed by her popularity would be inaccurate--I understand why she is popular. And the afterglow of an exponentially more gifted and popular brother reinforces her likeliness of success and celebrity status. But, she sucks so completely, sooooo irrecoverably, that her lack of talent threatens to unhinge the balance of the cosmos and cause all of creation to come crashing in on itself. Little orphans weep.

Kevin Costner - He is to movies what Janet Jackson is to music. How in the hell his boring ass got the movie rights to play Robinhood is way, way beyond me.

And finally, I'd like to add one to the list: Janet Jackson.... again... and for all the reasons stated above, and so, so ,sooooo much more.

Duh that's why shes A. Don't confuse popularity with talent. If that was the case Vadge would still be waiting tables.
