Thats a great show, you have to watch it for the writing alone nod and it complimented the ensemble that acted in it.

I loved him in Sense and Sensibility and Peter's Friends.

I'm so glad that I was able to find a compilation of him in Sense and Sensibility. Dry, subtle and hilarious to me. Imelda Staunten is so funny too.

Me neither lol I still am not, but I truly admire the writers of that show for giving Rowan(and the rest of characters) meaty roles that made them showcase their chops.

I myself slept on the show untill very recently,,,,,I think you'll enjoy it nod

I loved him in Jeeves and Wooster with Stephen Fry. Hilarious.

His novel The Gunseller was also entertaining.

Blackadder the Third would be the best starting point for Hugh Laurie's input.

That was great. lol Do you know what show that's from?
I've only seen them together on Jeeves & Wooster, but when they showed that show last time on TV I was a bit too young to understand the humor.

I do have BBC Entertainment channel but all they seem to show these days is Jonathan "Woss", Weakest Link and Doctor Who. I haven't seen Hugh Laurie on any shows there. shrug

I like him but i cringe when I hear his american accent on House.
Tis probably the main reason I don't watch it.
Surely Americans don't accept this as a decent attempt?
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I agree. I think his American accent is quite convincing. When I first started watching House, I was unfamiliar with Hugh Laurie and his past work and was surprised to discover that he is English.
