I loved him in Sense and Sensibility and Peter's Friends.
I'm so glad that I was able to find a compilation of him in Sense and Sensibility. Dry, subtle and hilarious to me. Imelda Staunten is so funny too. I myself slept on the show untill very recently,,,,,I think you'll enjoy it

I loved him in Jeeves and Wooster with Stephen Fry. Hilarious.
His novel The Gunseller was also entertaining. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

They are SO good together... Aaaawww.... That was great. Do you know what show that's from? I've only seen them together on Jeeves & Wooster, but when they showed that show last time on TV I was a bit too young to understand the humor. I do have BBC Entertainment channel but all they seem to show these days is Jonathan "Woss", Weakest Link and Doctor Who. I haven't seen Hugh Laurie on any shows there.

I like him but i cringe when I hear his american accent on House.
Tis probably the main reason I don't watch it. Surely Americans don't accept this as a decent attempt? Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
