One of these items:

1. Pinapple & coffee

2. Mango & coffee

3. Stir fried chicken in basil on top of rice with a fried egg... and coffee

4. Beef Noodle Soup and coffee

I always try and eat something for breakfast, even if it's just a PBJ, so that I don't loose my concentration while lecturing my classes.

5 servings of fruit/veggie as soon as I wake up. Usually a pear, an apple, a banana, some blueberries, and an avocado. Some type of bran/wheat germ with unsalted almonds and soy milk.

Even though I'm not really hungry most mornings I eat anyway, because if I don't I will end up eating later in the day which is not a good thing. This morning I had a hot cup of blueberry tea too.

scrambled egg whites w/ chicken or turkey sausage & cheese

Weekdays I eat 1/2 cup of organic low or non fat yogurt with 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch. The yogurt flavor varies, but usually just vanilla or strawberry (I get the big cartons of it). And tea with milk and sugar.

Weekends I usually have a sandwich consisting of 2 slices of lower cal whole wheat toast, a scrambled egg (no oil), light herbed cheese and 2 slices of veggie bacon. And tea with milk and sugar.

This has been my regular breakfast for well over a year. Occasionally I'll have a weekday treat, like a muffin or scone w/coffee instead of the above. And occasionally I'll go out for breakfast on weekends. But the vast majority of the time, I eat what I listed above.

I eat this same thing every day, and I never get sick of it:

Nonfat plain yogurt with honey or agave syrup, some sort of berry (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc) ground flaxseed, raw almonds, walnuts, and about a Tbsp. of bran cereal mixed in. drool

Every once in a while I'll have steel cut oatmeal with the same stuff in it if I have time to make it.

And coffee. smile

Lately, nothing and yes, I know it isn't smart. I have no appetite until about 3 o o'clock in the afternoon. But I am forcing myself to eat so I'll have a piece of fruit or a yogurt.

...and a banana. But lately CornFlakes have been on sale, so... redface

On Saturdays, I might get a bagel or muffin, and have a scrambled egg with turkey bacon and orange or cranberry juice.

Good job! smile

Keep forcing yourself. Before long you WILL get an appetite in the morning. Even if it's only for a little bit like you've been doing.

I'm not hungry right away either so I make my breakfast at work. It's about an hour and 40 minutes or so from the time I get up to the time I get to work. I keep a food cabinet at my desk w/cereal, tea, a bowl and spoon, my tea cups and the thing I use to brew my tea in, a sugar bowl, all of that. lol I keep milk and yogurt in the fridge here. It really has made a difference over time. I can tell when my metabolism is up cause I'll get hungry even before I get off the bus.

PS - You probably know this, but eating breakfast is actually highly recommended for weight loss. The reason being - the longer you go without food, the more likely you are to overeat when you finally DO eat.

This is something I've really had to adjust to. When I'm hanging out with friends, I have to be specific about the timing of everything cause I need to plan all of my calories and be able to eat when I need to eat. It's probably a drag on them, but screw them. lol

I do the same thing.
I get up at 5, but I pack my breakfast with my lunch. I put my cereal in on of those Tupperware bowls and I keep spoons in my lunchbox.
I have a carton on no-fat, lactose-free ("white water" lol) in the fridge in my classroom. I'm not hungry when I get up, but I need to eat something before the kids come in order to make it thru the morning. I sit at my desk, eat my cereal, and get ready for my day. nod
