Has anyone lived or worked in Qatar? If so, how was it? I just applied for a position within my firm that requires some travel over there to a branch they have in Qatar from time to time. I was just curious as to what it's like. I consider it a challenge which is why I applied for it. I've been doing some research on it as well. Any help anyone can provide would be most helpful.  I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

My friend moved there a few years ago and seems to enjoy it. Her husband is from there so I guess that might make a difference. She comes home during the summer because the heat is just about unbearable. I might see her tonight (she's home for the holidays)..I'll ask her the pros and cons. | |

General Dynamics sent a bunch of friends of mine to Qatar from time to time. The money is good, the temperatures are hot, and the shopping is good. | |
