Kids watch these shows to see their favorite performers win awards. I think these types of shows should air after 10:30 PM. America is so into protecting their kids but at the same time when kids see this type of stuff they want to know why they are not allowed to immitate what they see on TV.

I find it humorous that one of the people complaining is from a place called Rainbow City...

I am tired of the FCC and other so-called watchdog groups catering to uptight idiots' fears. If I have to hear "But what about the children?!?!" wailed one more time I may have to choke a bitch.

The guy received a fake blowjob. So what? As if equally blatant displays of heterosexual sexuality aren't already the norm in that kind of media. If people were complaining about female backup dancers writhing and grinding with equal amounts of fervour as they are whining about the Lambert performance that would be one thing. But they're not, so the entire uproar smacks of hypocritical idiocy.

Besides, Bowie did the fake gay blowjob thing damn near 40 years ago anyways. It's been done.

You mean you have read all letters on that page ??? eek

I couldn´t digest more than three. Reading those letters, one might think that those who wrote them are either members of some very fundamentalist, uptight Christian fringe group or from an Islamic country that still follows sharia law.

Why don´t people mind their own business? I couldn´t care less whether Adam Lambert is kissing guys on TV, nor would it bother me if my children (if I had children) watched him kissing guys.

I'm assuming the folks over at Family Guy got some kind of strongly worded letter from the thought police FCC?

Even way back when Prince did it with Wendy I thought it looked silly. The difference is Prince and Wendy had other weapons in their arsenal, such as musical talent.

Two things:

There is nothing wrong with homosexuality.

If they can continue to show straight sexuality then they need to shut the fuck up about gay sexuality.

What they both said. biggrin

The incomprehensibility of most of these letters goes a long way in demonstrating the intellect that would actually get upset over this performance.

Can you imagine if some of these self-righteous, uptight jackoffs spent even half the energy they do bemoaning Lambert's, er, lesbianism on something like campaigning their politicians for effective action on dealing with domestic poverty? eek

I think what people found most offensive was the crotch sniffing. Yeah I know Madonna the skank did it first etc etc... but still for primetime TV it is yuck and needs to be on a porn channel. Only strippers, hookers and porn workers would want that stuff on primetime.
Kids can't have a say in this stuff ... that is why the age of consent in America is 18 yrs.

I love it when I hear that line because I always tell them if they are tired of it being shoved down their throat, then bend over so we can shove it up their ass. lol

I am not a stripper, hooker nor porn worker and have no problem with it being on during prime time. If people found it offensive, then they could have changed the channel but no, then they would not have found something to be offended by.

Sex is all over television. When people get outraged over the simulated coitus and naked asses on prime time television or the half-naked women in Victoria's Secret ads or racy Axe commercials, then I'll be all for making sure the 'mos cut it out, too.

Exactly. There have been racy performances on prime time television shows for at least 25 years. Why people are acting brand new is beyond me.
