He failed miserably at 10 and was responsible for the crash of ratings for both the local news affiliates which dominoed and contributed to Conan's lower ratings. Jay should have walked away in June of 2009 - he acted like he was looking out of this staff but now what about Conan's staff who all relocated? I cannot believe how NBC fucked this up. It really shows the difference between Leno & Conan. Conan quit rather than ruin the format of the Tonight Show and messing with Jimmy Fallon's show. I just don't understand why NBC couldn't put the same shows on whenever they wanted.
If the wanted to put Conan on at 12, couldn't they have simply chosen to do it without it affecting Conan's production? I mean, does the Simpsons being on at 8 on Sunday really affect the making of the show? My Legacy

I'm with Conan, and I think he showed a lot of character by sticking to what he felt was right. I only wonder why NBC couldn't just put it on whenever they wanted. In Chicago it's on at 10:30, right (central & mountain time)? I figure as long as they pay Conan to make the show isn't it up to NBC to decide when it airs? My Legacy
